She entered the family kitchen with enthusiasm and kept it in this state until the task was completed. She conceived and published recipes for party planning, relaxing entertainment, boys and girls, and standard all-round rolls. Her professional portraits always wear red clothes. She keeps up with the latest hairstyle and wardrobe. She is a calm and smart artist who has remained young and popular for 100 years! Happy birthday Betty Crocker!

Betty Crocker's cookbook and recipe tradition can be traced back to the 1890s, when the Washburn Crosby Company, the predecessor of General Mills, purchased and distributed Pallow Miss Ya’s new cookbook. In 1921, "Betty Crocker" appeared to answer thousands of letters about home cooking and baking.

Marjorie Child Husted, a family economist at General Mills, has been a spokesperson for Betty Crocker's brain and voice during her growing up. Husted realized that women deserve a smart, smart and inspiring woman who can instruct them to keep warm in the kitchen. In addition, she also taught them to make delicious food to serve on the red checkered tablecloth, while still having time for relaxing facial treatments.

The name "Kroc" was chosen to commemorate a popular company director, and "Betty" was chosen because it sounds as friendly and helpful as the neighbor next door. Betty’s signature was selected from the female employees who submitted their signatures as Betty Crocker. A unique winner was selected, and this signature is still "written" to this day.

Today, Betty Crocker is known and admired for her world-renowned kitchen, where recipe development continues. Betty publishes three to four new cookbooks every year, including a version of "Big Red", which is Betty Crocker's iconic cookbook, published every five years or so.

Betty's classic, simple recipes made her popular on the early radio. In the late 1940s, Betty transformed into a mature television star. Between 1949 and 1964, actress Adelaide Hawley played Betty Crocker. Many people may remember the "Betty Crocker Looking for Tomorrow's National Housewives" contest held in the late 1970s. Based on their knowledge in cooking, baking and housekeeping, this pleasant competition for high school students awarded college scholarships and the opportunity to participate in the national awards ceremony. It should be noted that the winners think this award is worth recalling in their obituaries.

People from all over the world quickly realized that Betty Crocker is your on-call reference for successful cooking and baking on almost any occasion. Baking 101 by Betty features step-by-step pictures and beautiful and easy-to-understand instructions, making her a real jet aircraft. She quickly traveled across the globe in red fashion. People hardly know that apart from lipstick, there is always room for cleaning in her purse. She is ready to cause an uproar in Britain, Iceland, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Australia; however, there are reports that she has also appeared in Balta, Rose and Gardenia. After all, she just wants to crack the code to master the recipe and reach the glorious red square finish line with delicious food. Calio once had a problem with white sauce and double pot, and Betty knew how to deal with it and flashed it.

Betty did not complete her official portrait until the 15th anniversary of Betty Crocker's name in 1936. This portrait was commissioned by the famous New York artist Neysa McMein. McMein combines the characteristics of several family service members to create a maternal image that has maintained the official image of Betty Crocker for nearly 20 years.

Over the years, well-known artists including Norman Rockwell have been invited to perform a new interpretation for Betty Crocker. After the image was completed, women from all over the country evaluated the completed work and selected the updated Betty. In her 100 years, Betty has completed eight official portraits. The portraits in the photos in this article are from 1936, 1965, and 1996.

At our wedding, we received Glady Rust’s Betty Crocker Red Cookbook, a long-term family economist and educator for Underwood and Turtle Lake. She wrote on the cover of the book: "I believe this may help you start your life a little bit. This is a supportive cookbook that can be placed in your kitchen library because it makes every recipe All are easy to understand."

We have been using Betty's egg noodle recipe for many years. This is a simple and very basic recipe that allows you to add different seasonings. Our family’s golden rule 2: Need to clarify when trying a new recipe, let Betty help! Betty officially celebrated her 100th birthday on October 21, 2021. Thank you Betty, thank you for giving us a spoonful of wisdom, and allowing many of us to say when your recipes shine on the table: "Please call me Betty Crocker."

Recipe from Scarlet Betty Crocker

2 cups all-purpose flour (whole wheat can be used)

On the kitchen counter, dig a well in the center of the flour. Add egg yolk, egg and salt: mix thoroughly. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough is hard but easy to process. If the dough is very dry, you may need to add more water.

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. On a cloth-covered board dusted with flour, roll one piece at a time into a paper-thin rectangle. (Keep the remaining dough covered). Fold the rectangle loosely into thirds longitudinally: cut into narrow 1/8-inch noodle strips transversely. A 1/4 inch long strip for lasagna. Unfold the strip and place it on a towel until it hardens and dry, about 2 hours.

Divide the strips into small pieces. Boil in 3 quarts of boiling brine (1 tablespoon of salt) until softened. 5 to 7 minutes; flow away. This makes 7 copies. When eating, add butter as needed, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dill grass. You can add additional seasonings, such as garlic powder, pepper or seasoned salt, to get more flavor.
