Whether the model has become less divisive over the years is up to personal interpretation, but Jumpman has made it clear they’re paying the conversation no mind when it comes to the 3/4 cut version of the beloved Air Jordan 1 High with the release calendar of the mid-top silhouette having been chock-full throughout 2022. This time around the Air Jordan 1 Mid is solely intended for the youth with a medley of flavorful dishes and snacks dressing the titularly toned colorways’ insoles.

A gradient shading of red to yellow is applied throughout the suede overlays of the model with the mudguard starting the tonal spectrum by seeking a “Cinnabar” tone. The vamps offer seldom touches of “Canyon Gold” while the rear panels and foxing carries the darkest hue in a deep maroon that transitions to “Paprika” Swooshes and laces concluding the boastful color palette. A simple sampling of black and white leather panels and underlying tongue construction accents the bright ensemble nicely with the assortment of colors filling the quilt patterned inner lining and outsole matching the color blocking of its counterparts above.
